David M. Buckley
David Buckley is the principal of Buckley Advisors, a growth, turnaround, and customer-impact advisory firm that works side-by-side with boards, leadership teams, private equity sponsors, and early-stage investors to unlock the full potential of each company. A multi-company change-agent CEO, David brings more than 25 years of hands-on business leadership - from General Electric (under Jack Welch) to numerous private equity and privately held companies ranging from $5 million to $5 billion in revenue, across multiple industries, with more than 35 M&A transactions.
David's career spans the energy, defense, aerospace, industrial, automotive, consulting, and field services sectors. His expertise in process improvement and lean practices has positioned him as a distinguished turnaround and growth expert. Notable leadership roles include:

As a founding member of the NextEra Energy Corporate Investments Group, David served as Lead Operating Partner, leading the operating team, sitting on multiple boards, and participating in the investment committee. Through this effort, David and his team assisted more than 60 portfolio companies through periods of significant growth.
Earlier in his career, David held positions of increasing responsibility at General Electric, contributing to GE Energy, GE Capital, and the GE Corporate Initiatives Group. He launched his career in ERP implementation consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he still holds the firm's one-year sales record.
Prior to his business career, David served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, holding division and department head positions over a five-year tenure at sea.
